Privacy Preventing Biometric Authentication System
Srishail Maskey & Benjamin Leong
Contactless security
A biometic authentication system utilising both face and voice recognition embedded within an AI. Three factor authentication is implemented using personal voice, face and a tailored security question to enable access. All user data is not stored as raw input, instead information that is kept is encoded for extra security measures. Interactive UI is added to enable a coherent experience when a registered user approaches the system, and registration of a new user is flawlessly simple. Those that do not match the system's "registered list" are not granted access through identification of the face, voice and answer to the authentication question. These three levels of security provides a robust and secure system which as an outcome either unlocks or lock the mechanical door lock actuator positioned beside the door. An additional proximity sensor is incorporated to detect movement of up to 1m infront of the biometric system and begin the detection protocol.
